Ways to Give
The Fort Atkinson Community Foundation offers a variety of giving options for you:

-
A cash gift is the easiest way to start a fund or give to an existing fund.
-
Donate stock/bonds/mutual funds to minimize capital gains taxes.
-
If you have an IRA and are over 70 1/2 years of age, you can make qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) of up to $100,000 directly to a 501(c)(3) charity like ours, exclude the distribution from your taxable income, and after 72 years of age, have it count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
-
Maximize tax advantages through a beneficiary gift of your IRA or life insurance policy.
-
Include a bequest or other planned gift in your will or estate documents. Join our Bur Oak Legacy Society by committing to a planned gift.
-
Make an online gift.
-
Select a fund from our list of current funds and click the fund’s Donate button.
-
Credit card transactions require a 3% processing fee. You can increase your gift during checkout to cover the fee; otherwise, the fee will be absorbed by the fund.
-
Your charitable gift will qualify for the maximum legal tax advantages.
