Bur Oak Society

The Fort Atkinson Community Foundation established the Bur Oak Legacy Society on the occasion of the Foundation's 50th anniversary to recognize people who have made provisions in their estate plans to provide a gift to FACF for the causes they care about the most. The pamphlet below contains more information about the Bur Oak Society, including how to become a member. Won't you join us?

Our Bur Oak Legacy Society Roster:

  Theodore and Marilyn Batterma

Doug and Marianna Dexter
  Helen Rose

  John G. Slater

  Jim and Lee Vance

  Mabel Schumacher

By including FACF in their estate plans, members of the Bur Oak Legacy Society are ensuring that our work toward a Better Fort Atkinson will be ongoing.

Your Legacy will allow you to establish a fund at FACF to benefit your favorite nonprofit organizations or causes. You may also choose to designate your legacy gift to any current FACF Fund or our critical General Fund, an unrestricted fund that allows our directors to respond to the changing needs of the community.

Is the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation included in your estate plan? Please let us know by submitting a confidential Statement of Intent to document the impact you plan to make through your gift. Information you provide is not legally binding and may be changed at any time in the future.

Establishing a planned gift and personal legacy of giving to your chosen cause is easy. Our knowledgeable staff is always available to assist you --and your advisor--in achieving your charitable objectives now and in the future.
