AAUW Grants for Gals Scholarship Program
Eligibility: This non-traditional scholarship (not for college credits or to supplement living expenses) is offered by members of the Fort Atkinson Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to provide a grant to local girls and women to help meet an educational, cultural, leadership, or professional advancement need.
Due: March 15th for the spring cycle - September 15th for the fall cycle
AAUW Second Chance Scholarship
Eligibility : Woman who is either a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, Fort Atkinson resident, or currently employed in Fort, who is pursuing a program at either a voc tech college or an undergraduate program at a four-year college, after having been out of formal education for at least one year.
Due: April 1st
AAUW Jane Knox Undergraduate Scholarship
Eligibility : Woman who is either a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, Fort Atkinson resident, or currently employed in Fort, who is pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college.
Criteria: Earned 45 credits toward your degree at time of application.
Due: April 1st
AAUW Jane Knox Graduate Scholarship
Eligibility: Women who are either a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, Fort Atkinson resident, or are currently employed in Fort Atkinson, who are pursuing a graduate or professional degree.
Due: April 1st
Ardell Wiederhoeft Legacy Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is pursuing an education in the fields of business, mathematics, or a related field (such as actuarial science, computer science, etc.), at a vocational/technical school in Wisconsin, or preferably an accredited Wisconsin four-year college or university. Students pursuing an engineering or agribusiness degree are not eligible for this scholarship since other local scholarships specifically address these degree areas.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Deadline: Feb. 8th
Ben & Ada Hake Agriculture Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior or former graduate of Fort Atkinson High School who is pursuing a post-secondary education in the fields of agriculture, environmental science, or natural resources at either a four-year college/university or a one- or two-year program at a technical school.
Criteria: Must have graduated in top third of their high school class. Due: Feb. 8th
Denice Jones Medical Fields Scholarship
Eligibility: Former graduate of Fort Atkinson High School with at least sophomore standing who is pursuing a degree in a medical field at an accredited college, or a graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to enroll in a medically-related program at a vocational or technical school. Dentistry or veterinary programs are not considered medical fields for purposes of this scholarship.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Due: April 1st
Don Gruber Memorial Athletic Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who has participated in the school’s basketball program and intends to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year college or university, or enroll in a program at a technical college for an associate’s degree or the two-year transfer program.
Criteria: Have at least three seasons of involvement with the high school’s boys or girls basketball team (as players or managers), have earned a minimum of two varsity letters in other sports, and have at the time of application a gradepoint average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Deadline: Feb. 8th
Dr. James & Therese Fitzpatrick Educator Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School planning to pursue a degree leading to a career in education in any licensed role in the PK-12 area of certification at a 4-year college or have intentions of transferring to a four-year program after beginning post-secondary studies at a technical college, community college, or two-year institution.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Due: Feb. 8th
Dr. James Russell Athletic Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to pursue either an associates degree at a vocational college or a bachelor's degree at a four-year college.
Criteria: Earned a minimum of two varsity letters while participating in two or more sports and being active members of an athletic team their senior year. Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Due: Feb. 8th
Dr. Sydney H. Weidemann Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year college.
Due: Feb. 8th
Eagle Scout/Gold Award Recognition Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School.
Criteria: Must have earned your Eagle Scout Award, if a Boy Scout, or your Gold Award, if a Girl Scout, by April 1st of your senior year.
Edward Karrels Computer Science Scholarship
Eligibility: Student who has completed the AP Computer Science class at Fort Atkinson High School and plans to continue their education after high school.
Criteria: Must pass the Computer Science AP class at Fort Atkinson High School and pass the Computer Science AP exam with a score of 3 or higher, no later than three months after passing the class.
Eileen Harrison Education Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, Fort Atkinson resident, or employee of the Fort Atkinson School District, who will be pursuing a degree in education at a four-year degree granting institution.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Undergraduate applicants must have at least sophomore standing at the time of application. Due: April 1st
Fireside Theatre Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior or graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, who is pursuing an education in theatre, music, hospitality, retail or culinary fields - or a current or former employee of The Fireside Theatre, in which case there is no subject restriction. Recipient must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited 4-year college or an associate’s degree at a technical or vocational school.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Due: Feb. 8th
Fort Atkinson Thrift Shop & Jean Reich Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to attend a college in Wisconsin
Criteria: Minimum 2.5 GPA at time of application. Financial Need is a serious consideration.

Fred & Helen Rose Inspire-a-Dream Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who was selected as an 8th grade students based on their academic promise and adverse circumstances.
Criteria: Nominee must have a minimum 3.25 seventh semester GPA to qualify.
Gary and Bonnie Hamm Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year public college or university.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application

Gene Halker Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or Fort Atkinson resident who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, business, literature, or any related field.
Criteria: Undergraduates must have at least sophomore standing at time of application. Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application.

Hannah Church Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who has been involved with one of the Show Choir programs at Fort Atkinson High School or with Show Choir related activities such as stage crew, band, etc.
Criteria: Minimum 2.5 GPA at time of application. Due: Feb. 8th
Isabelle Mathews Education Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to attend a four-year college to pursue a degree in education and prepare for a career in teaching.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Due: Feb. 8th
James & Frances Luther Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to attend a four-year college in the University of Wisconsin system.

James Rossing Adversity Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to attend an accredited vocational/technical school or a 4-year college or university and has experienced a significant health challenge - or some other substantial adverse circumstance - during their high school career.
Criteria: Minimum 2.5 GPA at time of application Due: April 1st
Jake Meinert Voc Tech Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to pursue a post-secondary program at an accredited vocational or technical school.
Criteria: Financial Need is a serious consideration. Applicant must complete a FAFSA. Due: April 1st
Jason Dahnert Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: A current high school senior, a college or university undergraduate, or a graduate student who is either a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or a resident of the Fort Atkinson School District, and who is pursuing an education in any of the disciplines involving engineering. In addition to the traditional engineering fields, eligible disciplines also include architecture, which involves a knowledge and study of engineering, and software engineering but only if the applicant's intended college of university offers a certified (accredited) program in software engineering (accreditation status is available at ABET.org, and a list of accredited programs can be provided by the Foundation upon request.)

Jerome Hake Engineering Scholarship
Eligibility: A current high school senior, a college or university undergraduate, or a graduate student who is either a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or a resident of the Fort Atkinson School District, and who is pursuing an engineering degree. In addition to the traditional engineering fields, students pursuing a degree in software engineering are eligible but only if the applicant's intended college or university offers a certified (accredited) program in software engineering (accreditation status is available at ABET.org, and a list of accredited programs can be provided by the Foundation upon request.)
Criteria: Must have graduated in the top third of their high school class. Candidates studying electrical engineering will be given special consideration, assuming that all other criteria are met. Due: Feb. 8th
Jim & Lee Vance Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, Fort Atkinson resident, or employee in Fort Atkinson who is either: a student attending the University of Wisconsin Law School, a student attending Beloit College, a student who is pursuing a degree in English or a related field, a student who is pursuing a degree in math, physics or a related field, or a female student over the age of 25 who wishes to have a “second chance” to either continue or start education after high school and who would be attending a school in the state of Wisconsin.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application (does not apply to the "second chance" grants)

Jones Industrial & Culinary Voc Tech Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School or former graduate who is pursuing a career in any of these fields - Industrial Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, Welding, Quality Control Technology, Facilities Management, Laboratory Food Science or the Culinary Arts - at a recognized technical or vocational school in the state of Wisconsin or at the Culinary Institute of America.
Criteria: Minimum 2.5 GPA, in the core technical classes relevant to the field, at time of application. Due: April 1st
Juanita Schreiner Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School or former graduate who is pursuing an education at a four-year degree granting college in the fields of nursing, medicine, voice, or organ. The field of medicine is here defined broadly to include programs in dentistry and pharmacy as well as those leading to the M.D., D.O., or physician’s assistant degree or certification.

Kathleen Grabil Thorndike Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to attend a four-year, degree-granting college or university or pursue a liberal arts transfer program at a vocational/technical college with the intention of transferring to a four-year degree granting university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Criteria: Financial Need is a serious consideration. Applicant must complete a FAFSA. Due: Feb. 8th
Lloyd Hake Memorial Voc Tech Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School or former graduate who is pursuing a post-secondary education at a vocational or technical school.

Make a Difference Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who has made a demonstrable difference in the lives of others or in their community, and who are planning to pursue some form of post-secondary education.

Maurice & Clara Staller Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to enroll in a four-year college in the state of Wisconsin in pursuit of a career in a medical field.

Medical Careers Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School with at least sophomore standing in college who are pursuing a degree in a medical field at an accredited college in Wisconsin, or a graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who is planning to enroll in a medically-related program at a vocational or technical school in Wisconsin.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Financial Need is a serious consideration. Applicant must complete a FAFSA Due: April 1st
Orrin & Margaret Bull Family Scholarship
Eligibility: UW-Whitewater student who has completed at least one year of undergraduate work and is preparing for a career in education or any aspect of environmental science or related fields such as conservation, ecology, forestry, recycling, alternative energy, etc.
Criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application Due: April 1st
Pay It Forward Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or Fort Atkinson resident who is a college undergraduate with at least junior standing in the upcoming academic year.

Phyllis Zeimen Family Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School who is an undergraduate student enrolled full-time in a four-year college with at least freshman status at the time of application.

Ralph & Clara Rutledge Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or Fort Atkinson resident who is accepted into a graduate school at an accredited college in a program leading to an advanced degree, i.e. master's, doctorate, or professional.

Richard Noel Bingham Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to pursue an undergraduate degree at a 4-year accredited college.

Robert & Judith Knapp Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School or Fort Atkinson resident who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, mathematics education, physics, physics education, engineering, engineering education, music performance, or music education at a college or university.
Criteria: Undergraduate applicants must have at least sophomore standing at the time of application. Minimum 3.0 GPA in post-secondary study. Due: April 1st
Science Matters Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School who plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in research science, math, technology, engineering or computer science. Pre-med or nursing related degrees are not eligible
Criteria: At the time of application, applicant must have completed at least one AP course in either math,

Terry Beck Protective Services Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior at Fort Atkinson High School, former graduate of that school, or Fort Atkinson resident who is planning to pursue a certificate, diploma or degree in a protective services program included in the “Law, Public Safety and Security” listing by the Wisconsin Technical College System, at a vocational/technical college in Wisconsin

V.C. & Blanche Helgren Martin Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate of Fort Atkinson High School who is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in English, Journalism, Theater or any other related language arts areas, as well as the field of architecture, at a 4-year college.
Criteria: Must have a 2.75 GPA and at leas freshman standing at time of application. Due: April 1st
